Thakani Knitted Stole

You have to touch it! Words can hardly describe the incredible softness of this cashmere fabric. Knitted densely on hand-operated knitting machines with a great deal of yarn, the scarves then undergo a special washing process in which they are rinsed with water and gently kneaded. This continues until the fabric reaches a minimal degree of felting. This supremely fluffy piece of Nepalese craftsmanship is almost beyond the scope of a scarf. The Thakani also drapes itself as a plaid, providing exceptional warmth.
