Our Eco-Shahtoosh is made from 100% cashmere. It is an homage to the Shahtoosh, known as the "king of all wools," which comes from the wool of the Tibetan antelope. Out of respect for this endangered species, its wool cannot be processed. The incomparably silky-soft, fine fabric for our Eco-Shahtoosh is therefore woven from pure cashmere goat wool on a hand loom and then carefully washed in a second step, giving it its characteristic irregular texture. This makes each scarf a unique, individual piece. The open fringed hem completes the look, resulting in a luxuriously soft scarf, so supple and delicate – you almost forget you're wearing it.
